ADULT BIBLE STUDY

Everyone is invited to stop by the Church Library/Lounge (just across from the Sanctuary) any Sunday during Sunday School time (9:25-10:25am) to study God's Word and its application to our lives today.  We are continuing our study of the Romans and are using the study guide from the Lifechange Series.
There is a modest amount of preparation required each week, but we're sure you'll find this a blessing.

"So faith comes from what is heard and what is heard comes through the Word of Christ (or the Word of God)."

---(Rom. 10:17)

Men's Bible Fellowship has begun studying The Gospel According to Matthew on Monday evenings from 7:-8:30pm in the Double Classroom.   MBF is an interdenominational group of men from a dozen churches who meet at MUMC.  We are dedicated to studying God's word, developing personal relationships with Jesus Christ and encouraging spiritual growth through discussion, prayer and fellowship.  We meet weekly from September through May, using study guides from the LifeChange series.

We read and study about one chapter each week and gather on Monday evenings to discuss our answers to questions asked in the study guide.  Once a month we begin with pizza and soda in Fellowship Hall at about 6:00pm.  We then move to the double classroom for a lecture by a local pastor or lay speaker on topics from Matthew.  This is followed by a fellowship time or sharing prayer requests, in-depth discussion and prayer.

All men who hunger for a deeper understanding of God's word are cordially invited to join us any Monday evening.  For more information, please contact Phil Welsh at (732) 747-5032 or email p2welch(at)verizon.net.
